Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse and attached cottage, now functioning solely as a farmhouse. It dates from the late 18th century and has undergone later alterations and extensions. The building is constructed of chalk, which is rendered and whitewashed, with an extension to the left made of whitewashed brick in stretcher bond. The sides and rear are also rendered. It features a concrete pantile roof and rendered stacks. The farmhouse is two storeys high with a five-window front. There is a part-glazed and panelled door located to the right of centre, which is sheltered by a 20th-century gabled timber porch. On either side of the door are 16-pane sash windows, and there is a tripartite sash window with glazing bars at the left end, all topped with segmental arches made of gauged brick. The first floor has three 16-pane sashes and two 6-pane sashes, with stacks at the end and left of centre.
