Description

The Old Vicarage is a building that was originally a school and dates from around 1840, with later alterations. It is constructed of red brick in Garden Wall bond and has a pantile roof. The building features a central stair hall plan and is one room deep, with a rear service extension added. It has a two-storey, two-window front. The entrance is marked by a central 20th-century glazed door. To the right, there are two inserted single sash windows, and to the left, there is one single sash window. The first floor has four-pane sashes with gauged brick flat arches above them, and there is a string course at the first floor level. The building has a central stack and is included for its group value.
