Description

Nos 7 and 9 Butcher Row is a late 17th century building that has been altered over time. It is two storeys high with a painted brick facade, while the ground floor is rendered. The roof is covered with modern pantiles. A moulded wooden gutter rests on block modillions. There are five windows, all of which have been reglazed with plate glass. The building features two modern shop fronts. Despite some alterations, the front of this building complements the very fine house at No 11, which is adjacent and partially overlaps with these premises.
