Description
The goods shed at Nafferton Station was built in 1846, with later additions, for the Yorkshire and North Midland Railway Company. It is constructed of red brick with stone dressings and features a hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves. The east front includes a low office on the left with a single plank door and a single glazing bar sash window. To the right, there is a large round-headed engine opening with a sandstone impost band. The south front has central double doors set in a round-headed engine opening, with a continuous impost band that forms cills for Diocletian windows on either side. Attached to the west is a three-bay addition faced with weatherboarding, supported on iron columns with ornate brackets.
