Description

This is a mid-18th century house with a late 19th-century extension. It is constructed of brick in an English garden wall bond pattern, and the exterior is whitewashed. The roof is covered in pantiles. The house is one storey high with attics, presenting a symmetrical facade of two bays. The main entrance features a four-panel door set within a doorcase of pilasters and an entablature. Flanking the door are four-pane sash windows with sills set beneath segmental arches. There are gabled dormers with four-pane windows, and side windows with glazing bars and bargeboards. The eaves have a stepped brick cornice, and end stacks were raised in the late 19th century. An extension to the left is not considered to be of particular architectural interest.
