Description
No. 17 North Bar Within is a 18th-century building that has been altered. It stands two storeys tall with an attic, constructed of painted brick and topped with a pantile roof. The north gable end features a window and has tumbled brickwork. On the first floor, there is a modern enlarged window that is a shallow bow casement with glazing bars set in a wooden frame. The ground floor has a modern shopfront with a shallow bow window, also with glazing bars in a wooden case. The building has a rounded corner to the north, which returns to a narrow roadway where three nearly flush frame windows are located on the first floor.
