Description
No. 15 North Bar Within is a building from the 18th century that was mainly rebuilt in the 19th century, with an 18th-century wing still remaining at the rear. The structure has three storeys and an attic, constructed of red brick with stucco shouldered window cases and a panelled eaves band. It features a mansard slate roof with two round-arched casement dormers. The building has four windows, with a cill band on the second floor, and hung sashes that include glazing bars. The ground floor has a shop front with a wooden case topped by a dentil entablature. Inside, there are early 18th-century fielded panelling and a cornice with shaped brackets that can still be seen on the ground floor.
