Description

Nos 1 to 3 Kirkgate are 18th-century buildings that stand three storeys tall and are constructed of brick. They feature tumbled brick gable ends and a tile roof with two brick stacks. The eaves are adorned with a modillion cornice. The upper floors have three hung sash windows with glazing bars, which are set beneath rusticated lintels that include keystones. The ground floor has one window and a modern shop front. Nos 1 to 8 Kirkgate form a group.
