Description
This is a late 18th-century to early 19th-century house, now converted into four flats. It is constructed of brown brick with red brick quoins and window jambs, and features rubbed brick arches over the windows. The roof is covered with French tiles. The house has a central-hall entry and extends over three storeys and three bays. The front door is located beneath a radial fanlight, and is framed by panelled reveals and fluted pilasters supporting a dentil-detailed open pediment, which includes an urn and festoons in the tympanum. Throughout the house, the windows are 4-pane sashes with stone sills and rubbed brick arches; those on the second floor are unequally hung. A timber eaves band with a cyma recta moulding runs along the top of the facade. The roof has gable coping, shaped kneelers, and end stacks. The interior includes an open-string staircase with two turned balusters per tread, and an arch on the landing with impost details.
