Description
Nos 7, 8, and 9 Market Green are three cottages dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. They are constructed of brick, rendered and colour-washed, with a pantiled roof. The cottages are single storey with attics and feature a four-window front. To the left are two single-bay cottages, while to the right is a two-bay cottage. The central entrance has a 20th-century glazed door, with panelled doors at the far left and right. The windows consist of four sliding sashes with glazing bars. A cogged brick eaves cornice runs along the top, and there are two swept roof dormers with casements that also have glazing bars on the left. The building has end and axial stacks, and the gables are raised with brick coping.
