Description
Arlington Hall is a church hall built in the mid-19th century in the Gothic revival style. It is constructed of grey brick with stone dressings and has a slate roof. The building is single storey with a gabled elevation featuring a central, two-leaf, panelled door set in a double-chamfered pointed surround, which is topped with a hoodmould that has foliage stops. On either side of the door, there are trefoil-headed lancets, also under hoodmoulds with foliage stops. Above the door, there is a triangular window with a traceried star design. The gable is raised and coped, supported by kneelers. The right side elevation has five pointed windows with Y tracery, each under hoodmoulds with foliage stops. There is a boarded door in a pointed opening with a continuous broad chamfer, located at the extreme right and also under a similar hoodmould. The building is included for its group value.
