Description

SPROATLEY BACK LANE TA 13 SE (south side) 6/77 Cross-base and cross fragment 5 metres south of south-east quoin of Church of Saint Swithin GV II Cross-base and cross fragment. Probably C15. Limestone. Cubical base with quarter-round mouldings to arrises and sunk shields to each sides. Margin- mouldings to upper face and stump of chamfered cross-shaft with pyramidal stops.
