Description

Manor Farm House is a house dating from the early 18th century and early 19th century, with some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of rendered brick with painted ashlar dressings and features a hipped pantile roof with three ridge stacks and ashlar quoins. The building is L-shaped and two storeys high.

The street-facing side has a projecting off-centre porch with a hipped pantile roof and quoins, along with a single glazing bar casement and a doorway to the right. To the left, there is a single glazing bar sash on each floor, and to the right, there are two glazing bar casements on each floor.

The garden front includes a two-storey off-centre projection with quoins, a doorway featuring a six-panel door, a fanlight, and a wooden pedimented door surround, with a narrow glazing bar casement above. On the upper left, there is a single wide glazing bar casement on each floor, and to the right, two glazing bar casements on each floor.

Inside, the first floor contains an early 18th-century panelled room with full-height panelling, a dado rail, and deeply moulded coving, along with an early 19th-century fireplace. Another room on the first floor also has dado panelling and moulded coving, with both rooms featuring contemporary doorcases and doors. The staircase is a single flight with a return, having two turned balusters per tread.
