Description
Nos. 19 and 21 Argyle Street are a pair of mid-19th century houses that are currently used as a club and a surgery. They are faced with ashlar stone and have a concrete tiled roof. The buildings are two storeys high and feature a symmetrical arrangement of three windows, with central doors framed by a stressed architrave. The original 12-pane sash windows have been renewed in the original openings of the right-hand house. The upper windows are set above a continuous sill band. Additional architectural features include a moulded cornice and a blocking course with a raised centre-piece, as well as shallow coped gables and gable end stacks.
