Description
A terrace of five houses located at 59-63 Greendale Road, Bebington, built in 1899 by Maurice B. Adams as part of the Port Sunlight model village. The houses are constructed of brick, with pebbledash on the first floor, fishscale tile hanging to the gables, and a tile roof. The terrace is two storeys high and five bays wide. The central bays project with a jettied first floor supported by posts, while the end bays project forward under asymmetrical gables. The windows are small-paned casements, with those on the ground floor featuring gauged-brick flat arches. A central rectangular bay window is present on the ground floor. The first floor windows in the central three bays have gablets above them, with a canted oriel window in the central bay. The entrances are set within gauged-brick flat arches, the end bays having paired entrances with flat canopies, and feature plank doors with small-paned windows. Two cross-axial stacks and return lateral stacks are present.
