Description

These are three houses located at 224-228 New Chester Road, built in 1898 by the architectural firm Grayson and Ould. The houses are constructed of brick with a plaster first floor, featuring tile floor quoins and coving. The windows are designed as 4-light small-paned casements; those on the ground floor have cornices, while the first-floor windows are set in gabled half dormers. Each entrance is topped with a flat canopy and features a plank door with two leaded lights. The houses have cross axial and left gable-end stacks, and the rear of the buildings is similar in design.
