Description
Nos. 83 to 87 Greendale Road is a terrace of five houses built in 1891 by Grayson and Ould. The houses are constructed of brick with stone dressings, featuring tile-hung gables adorned with fishscale bands and a tile roof. They are one storey high with an attic and consist of five bays, with the fifth bay canted back and the first bay gabled. There is a drip mould over the ground floor. The windows have small-paned casements; those on the ground floor are set within stone surrounds and have segmental relieving arches with four lights. The first-floor windows are mostly three lights, with a four-light window in the gabled half dormer of the first bay. The third and fourth bays feature paired windows in a large dormer. The entrances have stone lintels and tile canopies, leading to plank doors. The terrace includes three cross-axial stacks. At the rear, there are gablets to the windows and privies.
