Description
This is a terrace of seven houses located on Greendale Road in Port Sunlight, built in 1902 by Wilson and Talbot. The houses are constructed of brick with stone dressings, pebbledash to the first floors of the second and eighth bays, and timber framing to the first floors of the third, fourth, sixth, and seventh bays. They have tile roofs. The two-story terrace is nine bays wide, with the central, second, and eighth bays projecting forward, and the end bays set slightly forward as well. The central and end bays have gables, while the second and eighth bays have shaped parapets. The central gable features a stone plaque. Most windows are four-light designs with double-chamfered mullions and leaded glazing. The first floors of the third and seventh bays contain three-light rectangular timber oriels, and the fourth and sixth bays have two-light windows. The entrances feature four-centred arches, moulded reveals, and plank doors with leaded lights. Cross-axial stacks rise from the roofs. The returns to the sides of the terrace have half-dormers, and the rear elevation is similar, including privies.
