Description

109 and 111 Marshside Road are a pair of houses, likely built in the late 18th century or early 19th century, with some alterations. They feature white painted render on brick and have a slate roof. The houses have a long single-depth plan and face the footpath at right angles to the street.

On the exterior, they are single storey with small gabled porches and 20th-century casement windows. There are single-flue ridge chimneys aligned with the porches and a gable chimney on the right side. The interior has not been inspected. These houses are an altered example of the type of fisherman's house that was once common in this area.
