Description
The stables to the north of Lovelady's Farmhouse are likely from the early 19th century. They are constructed of brick and topped with a slate roof. The building has two storeys and features six bays, with an additional one-storey bay under a lean-to roof on the right side. The stables have segmental-headed windows and entrances, including one window that has a cut-brick flat arch and one entrance with a stone lintel. There is also a loading door on the first floor. Inside, the stables retain some original partitions and mangers. The roof is supported by fish-bone trusses. These stables are part of a cohesive group with the farmhouse and barn, which enhances their historical significance.
