Description

This is an early 19th-century house situated on Victoria Road in Crosby. The house is constructed of red brick with an eaves cornice, end chimney, and a Welsh slated roof. It is two stories high and has two bays, with a central doorway featuring a semi-circular traceried fanlight. The doorway has a four-panel door flanked by fluted Doric columns in antis, set within a semi-circular arched opening. Stacked window openings, with painted wedge lintels, are located on either side of the doorway. The six over six pane glazing bar sashes are replacements from the late 20th century, set on projecting stone cills. The interior has not been inspected. The building was previously removed from the statutory list in 1996 following alterations to the front elevation windows, but the original sash windows have since been reinstated.
