Description
Nos. 1-16 Falkner Square and 17 Sandon Street form a terrace of 17 houses built in 1834. The houses are constructed of stucco and feature slate roofs. They are two and three storeys high, with each house having two or three bays. The three houses at each end of the terrace project forward and have central two-storey canted bays. The adjacent houses also feature two-storey canted bays, while the centre house projects with flanking houses that have two-storey canted bays. A top cornice runs along the terrace. The windows are fitted with sashes and do not have glazing bars. The entrances are adorned with architraves. Notably, No. 16 has an iron top balustrade, and similar first-floor balconies can be found on Nos. 7, 8, 13, and 16. The front gardens are enclosed by iron railings that have fleur-de-lys heads.
