Description
Wavertree Garden Suburb Institute is a building that was originally two houses, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of stone and features a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has two bays. Notable architectural details include a first-floor sill band, a top gable, and large flush quoins. The windows are fitted with label moulds and three-light horizontal sliding sashes, although one window has been converted to a casement. A roundel is present in the gable, and there is a porch with a hipped roof on the left side. The roof also has two louvres. The building was converted into an institute in 1912.
