Description

This is a house dating from the 1820s, situated on the south side of Upper Parliament Street. It is built of stucco, with a slate roof. The building is three storeys high, with a high basement, and has five bays. The ground-floor windows are framed with architraves. The window in the centre of the second floor is smaller than the others and is slightly off-centre. All of the windows are sash windows with glazing bars. The central entrance is round-headed and has an incised flat arch with a keystone; it features a Doric doorcase and a complete fanlight within an archivolt. The entrance is accessed via a four-panel door with glazed side panels.
