Description
No. 3 Islington Square is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and features a slate roof. The building stands three storeys tall with a basement and has five bays across the front, with a two-bay extension to the left. There is a stone lintel band at the basement level, a sill band at the first floor, and a top pediment. The windows have gauged brick flat arches and are sashed with glazing bars, including an elliptical headed window in the pediment. The extension has two blind windows and the end bay features a curved parapet. A central Greek Doric portico is accessed by three steps, and there are iron area railings with spearhead finials.
