4/1315 The Old Rectory (now part of High School) 14.3.75. G.V. II
House. c.1800, port cochere c.1830. Stone with slate roof. 3 storeys. 7 x 3 bays. 1st floor continuous hood mould. Embattled parapet and gables. Windows have sashes with Gothic glazing, those to 2nd floor have label moulds. South front to road has 3 gables over narrow rectangular projecting bays, the lowest windows heavily barred. Central bay has diagonal buttresses and blind cross in gable. Octagonal stair turret on north side. Great west port cochere of 3 Tudor arches and octagonal turret/buttress with castellations and moulded finials, roof removed (1984).
