Description

The Glebe Hotel is a public house built of stone with a slate roof, dating from the 19th century. It stands three storeys tall and features a three-by-three bay layout with a canted corner bay. The building is decorated with ornamental bands and cornices between the storeys, and the name of the hotel is carved into the parapet.

On the ground floor, there are three-light windows on either side of a segmental-headed entrance. The first floor has windows arranged in a 3:2:3 pattern, all with segmental heads and hood moulds. The second floor features two-light windows, with the central window being smaller, while the flanking windows have gables that include rose windows.

The corner bay is highlighted by a tourelle with a moulded base and narrow lights that have shouldered lintels. The lower stage of this bay has three lights, while the upper stage has eight lights adorned with guilloche bands above both stages. The building is topped with a short spire covered in fish-scale tiles.
