Description
Rooklands and Westfield are a pair of houses built around 1850. They are made of stucco and have a slate roof. Each house has two storeys and two bays, with the bays at each end projecting forward under a pediment. There is a sill band on the first floor, along with a top frieze supported by brackets and a cornice. The windows feature architraves; the ground floor windows have panelled aprons, friezes, and cornices, while the first floor windows have eared architraves. Most windows are sashed and include glazing bars. No. 48 has a porch on the return side with an entrance framed by an eared architrave at the front, a pediment, and a window with stained margin lights on the side.
