Terrace of 4 houses. Early C19 (dated 1819 on rainwater head). Brick with stone dressings, slate roof, 3 storeys with basement, 3 bays to each house; no. 29A has 2 bays to Hope Street and 3 bays to Arrad Street. 1st floor sill band and top cornice. windows have wedge lintels and are mostly sashed. Central round arched entrances with Doric doorcases and 6-panel doors. No. 25 has glazing bars to sashes; doorcase lacks columns. No. 27 has complete fanlight. No. 29 has glazing bars to ground floor sashes; 2 bowed iron balconies to 1st floor 2nd and 3rd bay windows. No. 29A has casements to 1st floor windows; entrance to Arrad Street facade has panelled doorcase and complete fanlight; and bays have blind windows. Plain iron area railings and rusticated gate piers with hemisphere finials.
