Description

The gates and gatepiers to Number 44 were built in the 1870s and are listed as a grade II structure. There are two gates flanked by four stone gatepiers. Each gatepier features a cornice adorned with Tudor flower ornamentation, castellation, and ogival caps that have a fish-scale pattern, along with crockets and fleurons. The wooden gates are designed with a grid pattern that includes diagonal elements.
