Description
The Cottage is a house dating from the 18th century and later. The older section is constructed of handmade brick and features a hipped slate roof. It has two storeys and three bays, with deep, boxed eaves. The segmental-headed windows are fitted with three-light, small-paned sliding sashes. There is a central cruciform stack. To the left, a later projecting bay has a timbered first floor and decorative bargeboards, topped with a tiled roof. The ground floor includes a projecting window with a lean-to roof and an oriel with a hipped roof above it. There is a porch at the angle of the building, also with a lean-to roof. Additionally, there are two paired diamond stacks.
