Description

The Old School House is a Victorian school building, now used as a house, dating from the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with stone dressings and features a hipped slate roof. The building is single storey and consists of three bays. It has a stone base, rusticated quoins, and a cornice. The windows are designed with cross casements and have label moulds above them. The porch includes quoins, a cornice, and a gable, with an entrance that also features a label mould; there are windows in the returns of the porch. Additionally, there are later brick stacks on the building.
