Description
Little Blindhurst Farmhouse is a house built in 1731, constructed from slobbered rubble with a slate roof. It has two storeys and three bays, featuring a double-depth, end baffle-entry plan. A moulded band runs along the building. The windows have flat-faced mullions and transoms, with a slight edge moulding and architraves. The first two bays contain cross windows, while the third bay has windows with six lights. The door, located on the right, is framed by a stone porch with pilasters that support a moulded open segmental pediment with a scalloped lower edge. Above the door is a plaque with a moulded border inscribed with 'REP 1731'. The end chimneys have weathered offsets, and the left-hand chimney also features a moulded cornice. Inside, the door opens against a spere, and although the fireplace has been removed, there are axial main ceiling beams. The property is said to retain its original stair.
