Description
Little Blacksticks is a late 17th-century house constructed of sandstone rubble with a slate roof. The original section comprises two units, each with an end stack. The house is two storeys high and features mullioned windows. The east-facing wall retains two 3-light windows on each floor, each originally hooded. Most of these windows are rebated and chamfered, with the exception of the right-hand ground-floor window, which is chamfered. A single-storey extension, likely dating to the 19th century, projects eastward from the southern end of the east wall. This extension has plain stone window surrounds. The rear, west-facing wall of the main house maintains chamfered mullioned windows; the ground floor has one window of four lights on the left and a window with a single central mullion remaining on the right. The first-floor windows on the west wall are modern reproductions intended to be in keeping with the original design.
