Description

Ibbetson's Bridge, built in 1797, is a bridge over the Lancaster Canal designed by engineer John Rennie. It is constructed from squared sandstone blocks and features a single elliptical arch with a stepped keystone. Below the solid parapets, which have rounded tops, there is a decorative band.
