Description
No. 50 on Moor Street is a house that likely dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century and has been altered over time. It is built of red brick in English garden wall bond, featuring sandstone dressings and a composition tile roof. The house has a double-depth, double-fronted layout with two storeys and two symmetrical windows. The central entrance has a panelled door with glazed top panels and a wedge lintel above it. The windows are unhorned 16-pane sashes with very slender glazing bars, also topped with wedge lintels. Gable chimneys are present on the building. This house is part of a group with Nos. 52 and 54, which are adjacent to the left and share a vertical joint with No. 50.
