Description
New Hill House is a house built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick with painted stone dressings and has a slate roof. The building has two storeys and an attic. The windows are recessed and chamfered, featuring mullions and hoods, with most consisting of three lights. The ground floor windows have transoms, while the first-floor windows are sashed.
On the south front, there is a one-bay gabled projection that includes a two-light attic window. To the right of this projection is an open loggia supported by three Tudor arches on the ground floor, with one window on the first floor above. To the left, there are two bays. The right-hand bay features a one-light window on the first floor, positioned above a gabled porch that sits at the angle of the projecting wing. The outer doorway of the porch is chamfered in two orders with a Tudor arch. Above this doorway is the shield of arms of the Molyneux family.
