Description

GREAT ALTCAR ALTCAR ROAD SD 30 NW 6/5 Francis' Farmhouse - GV II

House. 1806. Brick in Flemish bond with slate roof. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Windows are sashed with glazing bars and have painted stone lintels and sills. The door, between bays, is of 6 flush panels and has a painted stone surround with moulded imposts and a round head with keystone. Above, on the 1st floor, is a plaque inscribed: '1806'. Gable chimneys.
