Description

Francis' Farmhouse is a house built in 1806. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond and has a slate roof. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high with two bays. The windows are sashed with glazing bars and feature painted stone lintels and sills. The door, located between the bays, consists of six flush panels and is framed by a painted stone surround with moulded imposts and a round head with a keystone. Above the door, on the first floor, there is a plaque inscribed with the year '1806'. The farmhouse has gable chimneys.
