Description
The Brew House at Worden Hall is a building from the 18th century, likely used for brewing animal feed. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and features a slate roof, which has one chimney on the ridge and another on the left gable. The building has a rectangular plan with four bays and stands two storeys high. The south side includes four ground floor doorways with stone lintels and three window openings on each floor, all fitted with wooden louvre shutters. There are loft doors at the first floor of both gables, with the left end accessed by external steps. Inside, there is a wooden spiral staircase with separate newels at the ground and first floor, a kingpost roof with fishbone struts, and some original machinery, including a hopper on the first floor.
