Description
Causeway Head Farmhouse is a house and cottage from the late 18th century that has been altered and renovated into a single dwelling. It is constructed of watershot coursed sandstone and features a stone slate roof with brick chimneys at the gables. The building has a three-bay plan and is two storeys high. There is a doorway with a plain surround located at the junction of the first and second bays, while a former doorway at the other junction has been altered to serve as a window. The ground floor has three flush mullioned windows with configurations of three, two, and three lights, while the first floor has three flush mullioned windows with two, two, and three lights, with the windows in the third bay stepped and the others of irregular size and shape. Additionally, there are three inserted windows on the first floor. Farm buildings are attached at the rear.
