Description
Whins House is an early 19th-century house built from sandstone rubble and topped with a stone slate roof. It stands two storeys high and features projecting quoins and an eaves cornice. The windows are sashed with glazing bars and have plain stone surrounds. The facade includes a two-storey projecting bow with three windows on each floor. To the right of the bow is one bay, and to the left are two bays, with a door located in the right-hand bay. This door is framed by a Tuscan stone doorcase and is recessed, featuring a round head and a fanlight above. There are chimneys on the left-hand gable and to the right of the door.
