Description

The Spread Eagle Hotel is an early 19th-century public house. It is constructed from roughly dressed rubble stone with a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays. Chamfered quoins are visible. The windows are sash windows. The outer bays feature two-storey canted bay windows. The central bay has tripartite windows with simple stone surrounds and square mullions. A plain stone surround frames the door, which is sheltered by an open timber porch. Chimneys are located on the left-hand gable, one between bays one and two and another between bays two and three.
