Description

The sundial base, dating from 1664, is located approximately 2 metres south of the southern corner of Ravens Holme Farmhouse. It is made of sandstone and has a square plan with chamfered and stopped edges. The base is roughly octagonal and features an inscription towards the top that reads: 'MB (?) IB 1664 RB'.
