Description
Dickinson Farmhouse, dating from the mid-18th century, is constructed from coursed sandstone rubble and features a roof of tiles that imitate stone slates. The building is two storeys high and originally consists of three bays, each with windows of two lights that have plain stone surrounds and square mullions. The central bay contains a door with a plain stone surround. To the left of the original house is a later one-bay addition that has sashed windows with plain stone surrounds. A chimney is located to the right of this addition and also to the right of the main house. The adjoining barn has a stone slate roof and features a wide entrance with plain reveals and a timber lintel. To the right of the barn, a wider shippon projects forward, covered by a continuous roof.
