Description

Townley House is a house built around 1800, constructed from pebbledashed rubble and topped with a slate roof. It is two storeys high and features two bays. The windows have plain stone surrounds; the ground floor windows are tripartite with semi-circular heads and square mullions, while the first floor has two-light windows with square mullions. The door, located between the bays, also has a plain stone surround with a semi-circular head.

Above the door is a re-set datestone inscribed '1727 GAA', and to the left of the left-hand bay is another re-set stone that reads 'RA 1624'.
