8/19 Wall on north-east side of playing field, returning 70 metres on GV south-east side and including a pair of gate piers

Low sandstone ashlar wall topped by cast iron railings, C19th. The railings are a copy of those linking the 2 garden pavilions, with shaped fluted piers and barleysugar railings. The sandstone gate piers are of square section with dentilled cornices and finials, the north-eastern one retainings its ball.
