Description

This is a mid-19th century terrace of three houses located on West Cliff, Preston. The houses are built of red brick with a Welsh slate roof and have brick stacks that project from the front and rear of the roof ridge. The terrace has two storeys and an attic. The elevation features a six-window arrangement, with the upper windows being 2/2 sashes under slightly cambered stone lintels, and the ground floor windows being 1/1 sashes. To the right of each front door is a stone doorcase with an arched opening framing a panelled door, which features pilasters, an entablature, a moulded cornice, and a blocking course. A stone sill band runs along the building, and the eaves are wide. Dormer windows are present, with casements and rounded roofs. Similar sashes are found in the gable end walls. The interiors have not been inspected.
