Description

The terrace steps with balustrades and urns are located in Miller Park and were constructed around 1865. Made of sandstone ashlar, the balustrades and urns are currently painted cream. The upper deck of the terrace is approximately 10 meters wide with curved ends, which are now occupied by a flower bed. It features a rusticated ashlar retaining wall that is protected by a balustrade with four urns. Lateral winding steps on either side lead down to a lower deck, and a straight flight of steps descends further to the lower terrace. These steps are also protected by matching balustrades with urns.
