Description

Pasture House is a house dating before 1777. It is constructed of dressed stone with projecting quoins. The house is three storeys high, featuring three sash windows on each floor, with the outer two windows on the upper floors being tripartite. A Diocletian window is located in the third storey. The doorway has pilasters and a semicircular fanlight with glazing bars, set beneath a broken pediment interrupted by a keystone. The original door comprises six fielded panels. Ornamental lean-to additions are present at each end of the house, featuring ogee parapets terminated by rusticated piers, each with a two-light window with a two-centred head and Gothic glazing bars. The left-hand window of the lean-to on the left-hand side of the building is blocked. Inside, a dog-leg staircase has square balusters and a curving handrail.
