Description
Lower Fulshaw Head Farmhouse is a house dated 1630, constructed from coursed rubble. It is two storeys high and consists of three cells. The building features four windows that are irregular and have been altered over time. Original splayed openings can be seen on the left side, although the stone mullions have been removed. There are two moulded dripstones with circular stops on the ground floor. The off-centre doorway, located under the datestone, has jamb chamfers that continue around an ogee head. Additionally, there is a plain added doorway at the left end. The farmhouse has two ridge stacks and one stack at the right-hand gable. Inside, the stone cap of a firehood remains in the roof.
